I understand that foster arrangements may be confirmed in writing or through electronic communication, including text message, email, or social media. I understand that Hearts to Homes may recall or relocate a Foster at any time, at its sole discretion. I agree to notify Hearts to Homes immediately if I need to move the Foster for any reason and I agree to provide a reasonable amount of time for Hearts to Homes to find another foster home. A reasonable amount of time is defined as the greater of the amount of time agreed to by myself and Hearts to Homes or 2 weeks. I agree to treat all Fosters humanely and will not sell, abandon, relinquish or give the Foster away to a research facility, pound, animal shelter, other rescue group or to any other individuals. I agree to provide adequate food, water, affection, socialization, training, exercise, medical care and to follow all care instructions provided by Hearts to Homes for all Fosters. I understand that Hearts to Homes makes all medical and wellness decisions for Fosters and will coordinate all veterinary care. I agree that all Fosters will remain indoors at all times unless I receive prior written approval from Hearts to Homes for controlled outdoor access to a patio or leash & harness walks. I understand and agree that Hearts to Homes is not liable for any injury, illness or damage to myself, persons in my home, or my property, including owned animals, while a Foster is in my care. I understand that if I wish to adopt a Foster, or if I identify a potential adopter, the adoption must be approved by Hearts to Homes. All current adoption procedures and fees will apply. I understand that approved adopters must sign an Adoption Agreement, which includes commitments to provide humane care, not declaw, and not allow the cat to roam freely outdoors. If you choose to adopt one or more of the cats or kittens you are fostering, your personal information and the details of the adopted cat or kitten may be shared with the microchip company selected by Hearts to Homes Feline Rescue & Sanctuary for the purpose of registering the adopted cat’s microchip. Hearts to Homes Feline Rescue & Sanctuary does not sell or distribute client, foster home, or adopter information. Personal information will not be shared with third parties except as required for the foster or adoption process described above. From time to time, we may contact you using the information you have provided to share updates, request support, or inform you about events organized by Hearts to Homes Feline Rescue & Sanctuary.
